What Is The Father's Will?
Charles Breunig To do God’s will it take a lot of praying and we need to want to do the will of God. I truly believe by doing God’s will we will find peace, joy and happiness. But the road of following Jesus is full of pot holes and bumps. At the same time, God give us the grace to go on follow His son.

In Mark 8:34, Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up your cross and follow me.” This mean, to me, that I need to learn to do the Father’s will. Sometime God asks us to do something really difficult but if we do it we grow into a person that God is calling us to be.

Spent Time With Jesus

Charles Breunig As we are getting busy and busier in our lives we sometimes forget to pray. Spending time in prayer with Jesus it is easy to forget to do. Before we know it our faith is slowly dying inside us. Prayer time should be the most important time of our day.

Why I am Thankful?

Charles Breunig Sometime I don’t feel thankful after a hard day. But I always try to be thankful for the simple fact God gave me this day to learn something. It is not any easier. We need to come to understanding that God gave everything we have, even the faith we have in him.

Are We Alone?

Charles Breunig Being all alone was one of the most scary things that I had to face in my life. I am a man with Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy (CP) effects the part of the brain called the Cerebrum. My hands and legs are spastic. I can walk but sometimes I fall down. I have a speech problem and it is hard to understand me. People who do not know me would understand me about 25 to 45 percent. Friends and family would understand me about 50 to 95 percent of the time. No one could understand me 100 percent except God.

Does God Answer Our Prayer?
Charles Breunig When we are praying we want an answer right away or we feel that God didn’t answer our prayer. If you think like that, you are wrong.  God does answer our prayers in his own time. One of the most important key to life is praying.  That is how we communicate with God.

Talk With God
Charles Breunig

There are so many ways God speak to us. As believers, we say our prayers each day and go to church on Sunday. But do we take the time to have some quiet time each day with God. I found in those quiet times and through meditation I would receive answer to my prayers. Those answers come in thoughts or from reading the bible. You might say, “That your thoughts are not an answer from God.” My answer is, where those thoughts come from? If I don’t take the time for some quiet time I feel out of focus the next day.

Christmas Spirit
Charles Bruenig What is the Christmas Spirit? If you ask “What is Christmas?”  You would probably get a number of answers. Christmas is for kids. Kids are looking forward to Santa coming with Christmas gifts. People are looking forward to holidays and family and friend gatherings. We all give gifts to our loved one. We put up a Christmas tree and put up colorful lights.

Life with Prayer

Charles Bruenig

As a kid I learned how to pray. Praying is part of my life. I believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things that we can do. I also believe praying will lead to a peaceful life. Praying is more than asking for help it is also listening to God.  Reading the bible we are reading the word of God.  As we are reading the word of God we should ask God to help us to understand what we are reading.

How Do I Pray?

People were praying from beginning of times. God always wanted to have a relationship with his people. Through the Bible God asked people to have a relationship with him. In the Old Testament there are stories of God, he asked a person to lead people back to him, like Moses in Exodus.  Also the Old Testament in the bible is full of books of prayers like; Psalms, Proverbs, Sirach or Song of Songs.
